Bradgate Park events calendar
Bradgate Park is located on the outskirts of the picturesque city of Orange in central west NSW. The property has superb facilities suitable for competitions right up to FEI level. We have a large indoor arena (28 x 78m) with a state of the art waxed sand mixed with shredded fibre cloth surface. Heath Ryan, Australian Olympic representative, quoted that “the surface is second to none anywhere in the world”. There is also a full size outdoor sand dressage arena, a large grass warm up area and a covered round yard. There are permanent stabling facilities for 14 horses, sheltered yards for 18 horses plus room for portable stables to be erected.
The first competition was held in September, 2009, and was a great success with riders from official Preliminary through to Grand Prix. Riders traveled from as far as QLD to compete in our facilities. We are aiming to hold biannual competitions each year from now on run in conjunction with Central Western Dressage Group.
